Community Events Program

The Community Events Program helps organizations that hold events to boost their community’s visibility and promote economic growth in Northern Ontario.

Funding

Funding is available as a conditional contribution covering up to 30% of eligible costs, with a maximum of $15,000.

If requested and approved by NOHFC, 50% of the funding can be given when the agreement is signed, and the rest after the final event report is submitted. Alternatively, full payment can be claimed after submitting the final event report.

The NOHFC Board of Directors may provide more funding for projects that show significant economic benefits, but funding decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and not all qualifying projects will receive funding due to limited resources.
